Apr. 21st, 2005 12:02 pmFound out today that Benedict 16
(that is, the Pope) has email now. You know,
how dangerous is that? I want to write
to him in Latin, telling him what I
would like to see from his pontificate,
but probably it's all in vain I'm sure
that it would go into some massive pile
and why should he care what some Taoist thinks?
In other news, I'm listening to some tunes
from, er, The Act of Balancing, a group
whose tape I owned but lost while on a trip
to Pensacola while in high school. Thanks
to Francis, who's responsible for this.

and so he ought to hear a Taoist's thoughts
and give them all due weight. In practice, though,
like you I tend to doubt he'd give a damn.
Composing Latin thoughts might catch his ear,
you'd think. Perhaps it's worth a try. Why not?
