cnoocyWhen I was at Carleton, there was a "ghost" (an alum still posting to the campus bulletin-board system) who would often mention her (female) partner, with whom she obviously had a long-term relationship. I know this sounds like something bad happened to them, but that's not the case. It's just that cnn.com informed me this morning that they had the first baby of 2003 in Washington, DC. So congratulations, Helen and Joanna!
