The whole Latin song thing was too much fun, so i'm going to do some in Rikchik.
Song 1:

Darn. While I think I've got it translated right, I have no idea what the song is. I'm assuming this is some moderately recent popular genre?

Also, for some reason, "front" lost its aspect. From the file name I infer it should be "includes;" or am I missing another nuance of Rikchik grammar?

I'm guessing based on context that it's Laurie Anderson. Not that I know the song.

It was the combination of the unlikely dance hit and your response to rikchik's comment about being embarrassed if it turned out that he had the album.

After that it was just a lucky guess.

I was right. "Born, Never Asked" off of Big Science.

Nicely done! I wish I had connected "Unlikely dance hit" to "O Superman", perhaps the most unlikely dance hit of all time.

I also wish that, having had this idea on Sunday afternoon, I had had a chance to do it first :P

I think I'll do all mine at once, like I'm "supposed" to.

Like [livejournal.com profile] bookishfellow, I can translate it but I don't recognize it.

"Everybody wants to know (be taught? learn?) one thing. That thing is, what's behind the curtain?"

I'll be very embarrassed if it turns out I own the song.
