Today it's just a little after noon
Apr. 25th, 2003 12:10 pmMay I just say,
leighjen's a fine MC.
(Perhaps a double meaning there.) We went
to see her show on Thursday eve,
which came behind a day spent in a book,
one Basket Case, by Mr. Hiaasen.
I don't know if I recommend the read;
it's not that anything about the book was bad,
the author's style is an acquired taste, is all.
So we went out to see the show, and had
a wondrous time, and then we ate
a meal (which was first chametz for the Jews)
at S&S and had some decent food.
Which does surprise a bit for there. Today
I'm doing lots of laundry, more with Flash,
and checking up on some employment leads.

Date: 2003-04-25 10:04 am (UTC)that Hiaasen's a lot like Edward Bloor,
who also writes of Florida and crime
and doesn't quail from violence and death,
but ne'ertheless is funny when he wills.
It makes me wonder if the two have met.
