For your enjoyment, some very odd music, in MIDI format.

The opening bars

An excerpt from later in the work

If you like puzzles, feel free to try to identify the source. (Knowledge of music may not help all that much.)

If you just like the music, stay tuned and I'll post more info about it tomorrow.

Well initially I thought it might be The Ballad of Trogdor the Burninator played backwards, but it wasn't.

It's clearly algorithmic in some way, but beyond that I dunno. Off to look at the answer!

Or, wait, is it towers of hanoi or something like that?

Hi!

Congrats for the midi pieces! :) I liked them.

But I'm writing to you 'cause I'm searching the net for a latin version of tao te ching - but couldn't find it yet.
(I spent many hours, but still nothing... just the fact that it exists.)

You were talking about this in an interview here at livejournal - do you know a place where I could download it?

I actually need it for composing a choir piece... :)

Please write to ernopolo@gmail.com if you know anything...

Thx,
Erno"
