Preparing for another working day

I hope that I don't bore my audience
with this prosaic content of my verse.
It's been a busy week, so I've no time
for deeper thoughts and memes and other stuff.

So yesterday I got to work and found
a letter stating "High priority
site issues must be done by 1 PM."
But there were way too many of them. J
had gotten nervous, overdone it. M
and I prioritized the bugs, then I
had yet another day of fixing bugs.
Hooray! Included in the list was one
that seemed to need rewriting of the class
that handles lists of data, hours worth
of work. But eating lunch, I realized
that I could use a data property
(that is, a feature of our info) to
accomplish the identical result.

When such "Great Moments" happen at my work,
they're moments Microsoft makes difficult.
If we were using Perl and not .Net,
I could have done the coding task without
much problem.
    That was work. While going home,
I stopped at Porter for a couple things:
a helmet and a headlight for my bike.
The goal is this: occasionally ride
to Alewife in the morning, then at night
come home and do some of the Minuteman.
Thus I will get some exercise. We'll see.

Now I will head to work, for late I be.
