The week begins: what we all did tonight

Tonight we found the TiVo had for us
recorded "40 Greatest Drinking Songs"
from CMT, so all of us sat down
with beer and whiskey in the living room
and I believe jadelennox was disturbed
that temvald and the Hobbit and I knew
so many of these Country drinking songs.
we laughed and chatted for a while besides
and now we're off to bed. Goodnight, LJ!

My parents, Sunday yawns, and other things

I'm thinking that perhaps I'll tell my folks
about this journal, so they're more aware
of what my life is like. I realize
that this may lead to them discovering
the journals of my friends, and that my friends
who know my parents may object to this.
So let me know if you prefer I not
inform my parents that this site exists.

I'm having trouble focusing today.
I think it's 'cause at work this week I've been
attempting to get lots of coding done
which takes a lot of focus. Now I'm low.
