Nominations are open for Jukebox Fest 2015, and the songs nominated so far have some really great stuff in them. So if you've been thinking of finding a spring fic project, you may want to check it out.

I'm confused: is "writing fic" part of this Jukebox Fest or is that just "nominating songs"? I'm interested in the former and not the latter but didn't see anything about the former in the URL you linked to. ???
The exchange is currently in the nomination stage. That lasts until the 4th. Then there are signups (offers and requests), followed by assignments, where everyone who signed up gets a recipient who has requested at least one thing they offered. Then fic gets written! It's the same structure as Yuletide, with a narrower focus. The full schedule is at http://jukebox-fest.dreamwidth.org/14766.html#cutid1 . There's stuff there about doing art and podfic, but neither of those are mandatory.
