Questions from [livejournal.com profile] colorwheel Rogationes a Colorum Rota. Responsa quoque Anglice et Ilpedice.

1) Someone posed the question recently on child_lit of whether twins, in Lyra's world, would be able to share or trade daemons while they're very young. What do you think?

I don't think so. Daemons are part of oneself. I don't share any of [livejournal.com profile] rikchik's brain or soul, we just have a lot in common. Perhaps mediums could trade daemons.

Posse non credo. Alicuius daemon est eius pars. Cum [livejournal.com profile] rikchik neque quid mentis nec animae communico, modo multum inter nos similes sumus. Fortasse mystici mentales secum daemones communicare possunt.

2) Have you ever considered, or would you ever consider, being a teacher?

Often. My mother is one, so I've always seen it as a possibility. I think I'd enjoy it, but I'm doing something else with my life at the moment. It may yet happen.

Saepe. Mater magistra est, semper igitur me docere posse credidi. Mihi (mea sententia) placeat, sed nunc aliud munus mihi est. Forsitan aliquando fiat.

3) What are your favorite clothes to wear? (All-time and currently.)

All-time would probably be my LMNOP T-shirt. It was bright yellow with baby sue on it. I got it the summer after 8th grade, and it disappeared sometime during college. Now, probably my green slacks with the hidden elastic waist.

Vestis dilectissima in vita mea fuit subucula tauformis pro symphonia cui nomen LMNOP. Flavissima fuit, et a fronte scripta fuit baby sue. Eam aetate anno MCMLXXXVII emi, evanuitque inter annos MCMXCII MCMXCVque. Nunc, diligo (et gero) bracas subvirides, cum zona elastica callide celata.

4) What were you scared of as a child, and are you still scared of it now?

Thrill rides and violent movies. My taste in movies has significantly broadened.

Plaustra rapida oblectationis taeniolaeque in quibus violentia videtur me juvenem terruit. His diebus nonnullae tales taeniolas mihi placent.

5) Is there any chance you might be magical?

I am magical. So are you. I'm not sure there is anyone non-magical, but my friends certainly are.

Magicus sum. Tu quoque magica es. Nescio an sunt qui non magici sunt, sed amici mei certe magici sunt.

Yes, in fact, I do have a day left in this job and no work to do. Why do you ask?

Sadly, not all of us can read it. I usually wait for [livejournal.com profile] cnoocy to translate. :)

Your diagram links seem a little broken on questions 1 and 2.

Well hey, I wouldn't want you to have nothing to do on your last day. (or was that today?) I'd be honored if you'd interview me. In American English, please.

On the subject of all things Rikchik, I have to say I am thrilled to be friends with people who invent such intricate and cool languages.
