The noon report: of jobs and food and games

I spent an hour learning basic Flash.
I've got the basic drawing tools
down pat, but need to spend some time
on interactive functionality.
However, when I took a break to cook
myself a little matzo brei, the phone
divided lunch in two, as I was screened
by phone for quite a job. I won't name names
lest I create a jinx, but it's my hope
the interview on Monday goes so well
that I get chosen, and can then relax
about employment 'til the end of year.
And then an evening playing Wizardry,
a game that next to Might and Magic 8
has many missing parts, but MM9
makes Wizardry the 8th look like
the masterwork of all the ages. Beh!
It's not that MM9 was not
a lot of fun, but it just had
too many bugs, without enough
new features to offset the bugs it had.
Does anybody know of any games
containing turn-based combat, paper dolls
that really help you view the characters,
and decent plot? If not, OK.
It's just a pastime after all. Today:
filled out a questionnaire for NDT,
and started doing laundry. Package will
be sent today, as well as more
tutorial on flash. And that is it.
