"Take Five" has been long-beloved by people who intellectualize music enough to enjoy a catchy tune in 5/4. The crumhorn section of my Renaissance music group in college really wanted to perform it in concert.
And "Play That Funky Music" was covered in the 90s by none other than Vanilla Ice. Which seems appropriate to the song.
