Answers to Questions
These are from
saxikath. Apologies for not being as elaborate with these as in years past. I've been a bit busy.

1. Tell me an anecdote about an event from your childhood that left a lasting impression. Nothing you feel uncomfortable with, obviously, but something that you think contributed to making you who you are.
When I was in the 4th grade, I was something of a lazy student. I was intelligent, but easily distracted. One day when I was doing something other than my work, one of my teachers told me that I had a lot to offer the world, but that I needed to focus. I had never thought in terms of my effect on the world before. That was the beginning of me comparing myself to the world, rather than to the small group of people around.

2. If I were thinking of trying to buy a house in this area, what should I know, do, avoid, or otherwise be aware of?
Make sure your credit's in good shape first. Then think about what you want. Be aware that location is a very important factor in price. Learn how to get to various areas by T. Then talk to someone more knowledgeable than me.

3. What, to you, makes a good roleplaying game?
I think a good RPG is a combination of a good story, energy, and the GM and players being on the same page. I tend to put a disproportionate amount of work into the story and not enough into the other two, but I'm getting better.

4. What do you do to blow off steam when you're really stressed? I can't remember ever seeing you seem really stressed, so I'm curious as to how you deal with it.
Ideally, I'll exercise, usually with a long bike ride. When we got the house, there were shrubs we didn't like in the front yard, which were great for this. But any sort of exercise is good, even taking a walk around the block. At work, I'll listen to calm music and have tea, though I've done long walks around there as well. I also see a therapist every 4 weeks, with I have found very useful as a regular release of things that bother me.

5. What do you think makes Frankie Marzano tick? :)
I'm only answering this with the caveat that if we disagree, I'm the one who's wrong. I think she's both attracted and scared by her father's world, which has always been a a mystery that is nonetheless a central part of her family life. I don't think she's sure what she wants to do with her life yet.
