Cotton-top tamarins seem not to understand complex grammar.

My questions are:
Are they going to try this on chimpanzees, our nearest relatives?
Are they going to try it on dolphins?
When do humans pick up this ability?

It looks like they're going to investigate the human baby question. But I'm really curious about the dolphins.

My guess is that experiments on dolphins have all sorts of problems: far different vocal tracts which mean that human noises are much different than dolphin noises; the speed of sound through water; and so on. But I'm guessing.
