A quick post
Back from spending a wonderful Christmas in Atlanta with my family.
My mother (and my whole family, really) in a nutshell:
4:00 or so on Christmas day, after we had just gotten back from the movies: "It's nice that it will just be the 5 of us [Mom, Dad,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rikchik, the Hobbit, and me] for Christmas dinner. That usually doesn't happen."
Three hours later we are sitting down to a delightful Christmas dinner with the Japanese consul and his wife.
I am not making this up.
